Double the Splash: Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon Open Together for Summer 2025 at Disney World!

Summer at Walt Disney World is about to get even more exciting! In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Beach, Disney has announced that both of its water parks—Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon—will be open this summer for the first time since 2019. This means guests can enjoy all six Disney parks at once: four theme parks and two water parks!

Double the Water Park Fun This Summer

From May 21 through September 7, 2025, guests can experience the tropical paradise of Typhoon Lagoon or the snowy slopes of Blizzard Beach for a refreshing way to beat the Florida heat. Before reopening for summer, Blizzard Beach will temporarily close from May 1 to May 20 for routine maintenance and preparation.

2025 Resort Guests Get Free Water Park Access on Arrival Day

As part of Disney’s Cool Kid Summer, guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel in 2025 will receive complimentary water park admission on their arrival day. This special perk lets families start their vacation with a splash at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon!

H2O Glow After Hours: A Nighttime Water Park Party

For those who love nighttime fun, H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon is the ultimate summer party! On select nights between May 23 and September 13, the water park transforms into an illuminated wonderland with:

• Shorter wait times for rides
• A glowing dance party
• Complimentary snacks
• Appearances by Toy Story characters
