Disney Cruise Line has announced an expansive retail offering aboard the Disney Adventure—totaling nearly 17,000 square feet of shopping space, the largest ever on a Disney ship. Several exciting firsts are set to debut:

• World of Disney at Sea: The iconic Disney Parks retail destination will appear on a Disney Cruise Line ship for the first time, offering a wide range of merchandise inspired by nautical themes and Southeast Asian culture.
• National Geographic Store: Another first for the fleet, this store will feature co-branded apparel and gear perfect for families and adventurers alike.
• Duffy and Friends Shop: The Disney Adventure will host the first-ever dedicated store for Duffy and Friends, showcasing exclusive nautical-themed merchandise for collectors and fans.

In true Disney Cruise Line tradition, the Disney Adventure reached a key milestone with the installation of its signature stern characters—Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. The statues stand 18 feet tall and 12 feet wide and were installed at the Meyer Wismar shipyard in Germany.

The figures are shown adding finishing touches to the ship’s golden filigree, with artistic details that showcase Disney Imagineering’s commitment to storytelling, right down to Captain Minnie’s carefully painted bows.

April 19, 2025: Disney Adventure Completes Float-Out and Reaches Major Construction Milestone

On April 19, 2025, the Disney Adventure made its grand float-out debut at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Wismar, Germany. The event was celebrated with fireworks and fanfare as the ship moved into the harbor for the next phase of construction.

The ship will feature:
