Thanksgiving at Universal Islands of Adventure

Adventure starts at the dinner table, and at Universal Islands of Adventure, we have two three-course Thanksgiving dinner menus that are worth every bite.

Confisco Grille

Your first course begins with your choice of Butternut Squash Soup with roasted pepitas and crème fraîche or an Arugula and Spinach Salad made with spiced pecans, roasted golden beets, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and pomegranate vinaigrette.

Dive into the second course with a plate of Herb Roasted Turkey and Sage Gravy served with traditional wild mushroom stuffing, whipped potatoes, crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon and a brown sugar glaze, and orange-cranberry sauce.

The sweetest course of all is the third one: a tasty house-made Pumpkin & Churro Bread Pudding served with cinnamon ice cream and warm salted caramel sauce.

Thunder Falls Terrace

Start Thanksgiving off right with your first course of baby mixed greens, fresh pomegranate seeds, candied spiced pecans, dried cranberries, and a pomegranate vinaigrette.

Your savory second course comes complete with Herb Roasted Turkey and Sage Gravy, wild mushroom stuffing, mashed gold potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts and root vegetables, and fruity orange-cranberry sauce.

The third course keeps it simple and classic with a house-made Pumpkin Pie served with a creamy caramel sauce.

There’s so much in this life to be thankful for, especially when it comes to indulging in an exquisite three-course Thanksgiving meal from one of the finest restaurants in Universal Studios Florida!

Lombard’s Seafood Grille

For your first course, you’re tasked with the difficult decision of choosing between a delicious Butternut Squash Bisque with crème fraîche and pumpkin seeds or the Holiday Salad made with goat cheese, maple syrup and balsamic vinegar dressing, beets, candied pecans, mixed greens, and whole grain mustard.

The flavorful Turkey Dinner in your second course can fill you up with roasted turkey breast, confit dark meat, sourdough bread and shiitake mushroom stuffing, gravy, roasted bourbon-glazed Brussels sprouts, smashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. This dish is also available in a kids’ portion!

It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without pumpkin; that’s why the third course takes it up a notch with a Deconstructed Pumpkin Cheesecake. This decadent dessert consists of graham cracker crumbs, pumpkin spice sponge cake, maple pecans, pumpkin cheesecake, and salted caramel sauce.

Thanksgiving at Universal CityWalk

If you can’t convert Thanksgiving Day into a full-blown theme park day, there are three venues at Universal CityWalk that have got you covered in the dining department!

Bigfire

Embrace the season with your first course at Bigfire: the Winter Garden Salad. This dish is made with arugula, kale, frisée, local lettuce, sweet potato, poached apple, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, goat cheese, and a maple-Dijon vinaigrette.

The Turkey Feast Entrée in the second course overflows with confit dark meat, brined-roasted turkey breast, sweet potato puree, cranberry-walnut cornbread stuffing, vine tomatoes, fresh beans almondine, cranberry-cara cara sauce, giblets and sage velouté.

Sweeten the night with a S’mores Pumpkin Pie for your third course, which is made with graham cracker dust, dark chocolate, marshmallows, and salted caramel.

While not a full, three-course Thanksgiving meal, the Holiday Sandwich at Bread Box is a returning must-try at Universal CityWalk that has the holiday spirit written all over it! It’s made with roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sage aioli, cranberry bread, and a side of gravy. You can enjoy this handheld from November 22-29. BONUS: Voodoo Doughnut

My favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is dessert, and at Voodoo Doughnut, dessert is a year-round occasion. This Thanksgiving, however, the spot will unveil its special sugary Apple Crumble, a yeast doughnut made with apple chunks, caramel icing, and an apple crisp. Get it while it’s hot from November 22 until the end of the month!

BONUS: Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

I’ve raved on and on about all the holiday eats across Universal Orlando, but what of the drinks? That’s where Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville comes in with A Nutty Brew and The Golden Harvest. A Nutty Brew is made with dark rum, amaretto liqueur, Irish crème liqueur, and coffee liqueur while The Golden Harvest is a mix of whiskey, orange triple sec, orange and cranberry juices, and bitters. Enjoy these holiday flavors from November 26 to November 28!
