New Things To Do at Universal CityWalk Hollywood admin, October 24, 2025October 24, 2025 Universal CityWalk Hollywood is making room for bigger and better shopping, dining and entertainment! And that starts with offering experiences that cater to your other favorite fandoms. Movie lovers, after all, love all kinds of other things, too. From K-pop and basketball to handcrafted pizza and delicious chicken fingers, there’s so much coming your way. Whether you’re making CityWalk your main destination or you’re stopping by after your day at Universal Studios Hollywood, here’s everything you need to know about what’s new and exciting at CityWalk! (For an updated list of fan-favorite venues that are still available, check out our CityWalk guide right here.) But First… Parking! Parking anywhere near a theme park can be expensive. Luckily, if you’re visiting Universal CityWalk Hollywood there are plenty of ways for you to save. $10 General Parking after 5 p.m.: CityWalk parking costs only $10 anytime after 5p.m. That makes dinner plans and a late-night shopping spree at CityWalk totally worth it. $5 Parking with a Movie Ticket: If you’re visiting the Universal Cinema, not only are you watching a movie mere walking distance from a working movie studio, but you’re also paying just $5 for parking. $10 Valet Parking with Validation: Movie stars don’t park their own cars (I’m assuming), and neither should you. If you’re eating at any of CityWalk’s sit-down, full-service restaurants or visiting Escapology, valet parking is only $10. Everything New at Universal CityWalk Hollywood LINE FRIENDS SQUARE LINE FRIENDS SQUARE is officially on CityWalk! And yes, that means I have already traded in my entire paycheck for the BT21 stuff. From cute K-pop merch to exclusive Universal + LINE FRIENDS collabs, you’ll find the perfect accessories, apparel, and souvenirs to complete your theme park look. Personally, an RJ tote bag and at least four KOYA accessories complete any outfit — but that’s just me. Take 2 If you love hunting for amazing deals on Universal Studios merch, look no further than Take 2! This brand-new retail space gives you a last chance to snag selections at great prices. With a wide range of toys, plush, accessories, souvenirs and apparel themed to some of your favorite franchises, you’ll find something to take home with you. And if you’re a Platinum or Gold Universal Studios Hollywood Pass Member, get ready for some exclusive deals. Escapology Escapology is bringing ten high-quality, fully immersive escape rooms to CityWalk. What’s an escape room, you ask? Well, at Escapology, it means gathering up with your friends and family in a room to crack clues, solve puzzles, and find a way out — all in one hour. Whether you’re trying to escape a haunted house, figure out who stole the Mona Lisa, or find hidden pirate treasure, problem solving has never been so fun. Cartooniversal Cartooniversal sells plushies, apparel, and accessories — all centered around your favorite Universal Studios animated characters. And now, it’s heading over to a newer, bigger location, right across from the Universal Studio Store. Production Central Although not entirely new, Production Central rotates its retail offerings quite often. Currently, Production Central offers Halloween Horror Nights merch to celebrate everyone’s favorite Halloween event. NBA Store Universal CityWalk Hollywood will be home to the very first official NBA Store on the West Coast. You heard (read?) that right. The first NBA Store on the entire West Coast means SoCal basketball fans can find all sorts of merch and apparel in-person. From authentic NBA jerseys to autographed memorabilia, find all kinds of ways to rep your favorite teams. CityWalk Pop Popcorn bucket collectors unite! CityWalk Pop is Universal’s go-to destination for all kinds of popcorn buckets, souvenir cups, and of course… popcorn. Not only that, but with each purchase, you get the chance to refill your souvenir cups and popcorn buckets during your CityWalk visit. Universal Bazar Want a fresh new look while still repping your favorite fandoms? You’ll definitely need to check out Universal Bazar. Universal Bazar features UNIVRS merchandise, a fashion-forward apparel line that features beloved characters and franchises. It’ll also soon offer a selection of blind boxes, mysterious boxes with an unidentified collectible figurine inside including some of your favorite mischief makers, mythical creatures, adventure buddies, and many more. Slice House by Tony Gemignani More often than not, anybody who’s tried Slice House by Tony Gemignani will tell you that it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had. And by “anybody,” I of course mean me. Hand-crafted and award-winning, Slice House offers a variety of slice types: New York style, Sicilian style, Grandma style, and Detroit style slices all made from authentic original recipes. They take pizza seriously here, it’s almost as if they… respect the craft. Everything Coming Soon to Universal CityWalk Hollywood Note: All the opening dates listed here are approximations and are subject to change.
